CRUZA Carabanchel is a festival organised by the Carabanchel Distrito Cultural community to bring art closer to local residents and strengthen the district's creative networks. In its 2025 edition, Memories of Water and Clay opened a space for conversation and making around contemporary ceramics as a means of poetic and territorial research.
Brenda Ranieri joined artist and researcher Romina Casile for a conversation on the poetics of water and processes of creating with clay. The following day she led an experimental ceramics workshop in which participants made works with natural materials gathered by the artist. Both activities connected attentive listening to the landscape with a manual, collective and situated practice.
