Hangar brought together nine artists from different generations at Artelier 21, a former port site in Estepona transformed into an exhibition laboratory. Painting, contemporary ceramics, light art, abstraction and figuration coexisted in a project that activated the site's industrial memory and encouraged exchange between emerging and established practices.
Brenda Ranieri presented Iron Flowers, a series of refractory-clay vessels incorporating metal and self-formulated glazes. The works translate the tension between hardness and fragility through the paradoxical image of iron in bloom. Their material density and poetics of forging bring craft tradition into a contemporary discourse tied to the productive history of the space.
